The leading cause of divorce in America has to do with financial issues. So I can easily make the connection that one of the leading causes of fatherlessness in America is a lack of financial management and stewardship in the home. If the people in the churches of America do not know how to handle money and be honest with each other about it, it will create more long term problems in the family.
Pastor, if you do not talk about money in your church, you are contributing to one of the biggest issues of our culture. Fatherlessness. Be bold, who cares if a handful of people leave your church? Generations of future and current children will be saved because you were bold enough to preach about it.
