ENCM On Trial – Part 2

Here’s the latest update to ENCM on Trial. If you were wondering what in the world this is about, read my post ENCM On Trial – Part 1 under ENCM News. There was a hearing tonight about the case that is in the FSU court right now. I went to it and came away with good and bad news. The good news is that the suit was thrown out by the FSU court because they recognized it was out of their jurisdiction to rule against the US Supreme Court, which has determined that the Constitution defends organizations like ours.

The bad news is that the group that filed the original complaint may decide to file an official lawsuit against the University. We will not find out whether or not this will happen until they actually hire a lawyer and file a suit. The Union Board at FSU didn’t seem to have any idea whether or not this group would actually pursue this in a real court or not. Only time will tell.

Please pray that this case just dies and it will not pursue it on a state level. Pray that every Christian would respond in a way that honors God in their thoughts and actions during this situation. Thanks so much for your support and prayers.

Well, I’m glad to hear the good news… not so much the bad news. We’ll definitely be in prayer for this.
